On April 6, The Charleston Chronicle published an article on a recent grant awarded to Charleston RISE by the Kiawah Island Town Council:

Last week, the Town of Kiawah Island awarded Charleston RISE a foundation grant for the specific purpose of helping Johns Island parents go through the RISE fellowship program. The grant will help offset some of the costs of participating in the fellowship program.

Charleston RISE organizes two fellowship cohorts each year. The spring cohort begins in February and the fall cohort begins in August. Each fellow participates in an intensive 30-week, two-part program.
